SAB World of Beer launched these fantastic food and beer pairings last year, and they were a roaring success. Novice or master, it doesn’t matter because even seasoned beer drinkers will be delighted by the artistic fusion of delicious food and fine beer.

The first pairing is set to take place on 13 February, so ladies, this Valentine’s Day it’s time to treat that special man in your life. The incredible menu includes treats such as smoked salmon rosettes on bruschetta with cream cheese and deep-fried capers, strawberry sorbet, a fillet of springbok on mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables, and more, all teamed with beers specifically chosen by the brew master.

Prepare to taste your way through more than 150 craft beers, ciders, whiskeys and wines. If that won’t get you there, maybe the line-up of stellar local musical acts including Gangs of Ballet, Josh Wantie, December Streets, Jarryd Smith and Shaun Jacobs Bands will. There will even be a team dedicated to keeping the little ones happy throughout the day, so you have no reason not to be there.

Joburg’s original craft beer fest is back, celebrating its fifth year of greatness. You can expect all the things you love most about the fest including a range of South Africa’s best craft beers, some of which are old favourites and others which are brand new. There’ll be fantastic live entertainment, as always, as well as tons of mouth-watering food stalls and even a play area for the little ones.
