Nicki Minaj is coming to SA

IN SOUTH AFRICA: Nicki Minaj will perform a three-date, three-city tour of South Africa in March.

The Grammy Award-nominated superstar continues to break records and impact pop culture with her critically-acclaimed third full-length album, The Pinkprint, which placed at the top of The Billboard 200 and The Billboard Top Rnb/Hip-hop Albums charts.

Minaj, rap’s reigning queen, recently made history when she occupied four of the top 10 spots on the Mainstream Rnb/Hip-Hop Airplay Chart and became the first female artist to ever achieve this impressive feat.

The rap sensation also has the most hits on The Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart of any female rapper in history and is the third top performer among all the females in the category.

To date, the global superstar has sold over 50 million singles and five million albums worldwide.

Minaj has also won a number of prestigious awards at the American Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, Billboard Awards, People’s Choice Awards, BET Awards and many others.

A global touring phenomenon, Minaj has sold out iconic venues including London’s O2 Arena, Brooklyn’s Barclays Arena, The Staples Center in Los Angeles, and many more.

Outside of her music, Minaj has starred in films including Ice Age: Continental Drift and The Other Woman in addition to judging American Idol, and she’ll also take on the big screen alongside Ice Cube and Cedric The Entertainer, starring in Barbershop 3.

In South Africa, Minaj will perform a number of her countless hits from her three albums. With an astonishing 96 million fans on social media, Minaj will pull out all the stops for her South African fans.

Tickets are set to go on sale today (28 January), and City Buzz insists you get them as soon as possible as they’ll be sold out in no time.
